Blended Learning Lifeguard Training

Learn how to prevent, recognize, and respond to water emergencies. Learn how to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over. The blended learning option combines online learning with in-person skills sessions conducted by a Red Cross certified instructor. Participants in blended learning courses acquire the same knowledge and skills as those in traditional classroom training courses. Upon successful completion of the class, participants will receive American Red Cross Lifeguard and Shallow Water Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR/AED certification.

Blended learning combines online learning with in-person skills sessions where you will practice skills and demonstrate competency. Plan to complete the initial eLearning lessons of your training at least two days prior to your first on-site skills session.
